Mildred Arnold

Mildred Arnold, 80, of Smithville died Friday, February 24, 2017, at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.

A retired shirt factory worker, Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvestor and Emmie Elizabeth George Fish, her son, Jimmy Dean Arnold, and three brothers, Marlon and James Fish and Johna Bullard.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jimmy Arnold, two sons, Charles (Darlene) Arnold of Smithville and Ricky (Anita) Arnold; one granddaughter, Molly (Devin) Merriman, a great-grandson, Colton Merriman, all of Short Mountain, and a sister, Marie Sneed of Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was a member of Church of God Seventh Day.

Services are 1 p.m. Sunday, February 26 at Love-Cantrell Funeral Chapel with Bro. Paul Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow at Banks Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, February 25 from 3 to 8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until funeral time at 1 p.m.
