Domestic assault leads to assault on officer

Domestic Assault

Rickey Ray Rodgers, 35, was charged with simple assault following an incident at his home. A hearing was set for February 7 in General Sessions Court.

Michael Noah Barrett was charged with two counts of domestic assault, assault on an officer, interference with an emergency call and resisting stop, frisk and halt following an incident on Johnson Hollow Road. A hearing was set for March 7 in General Sessions Court. Bond was set at $8,500.

Burglary

A watch, jewelry, black powder mussel loader, 20-gauge pump shotgun, an LG 37-inch TV, hunting clothes and a Keurig Coffee Maker were taken during a burglary of Brittany Johnson's home.
