BRADYVILLE - Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have arrested and charged a Rutherford County man accused of killing two individuals and injuring a third in a January 14th Cannon County incident.

Arrested was Robert Jesse Mount, 36.

Friday morning, TBI Agents arrested Mount and charged him with two counts of First Degree Murder and one count of Attempted First Degree Murder. Mount is being held in the Cannon County Jail without bond.

The investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing, with the assistance of the Rutherford and Cannon County sheriff's departments.

The TBI was called in at the request of 16th District Attorney General Jennings Jones to investigate the incident that occurred on Choctaw Drive in Bradyville. There, authorities discovered the body of 42-year-old David Wooten, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.

Two women were also assaulted in the case with one dying from her wounds. Investigators have not disclosed what type of weapon was used.

Despite medical treatment, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Clement, 19, died from her injuries.

Laura Jastre, 28, was seriously wounded and continues to recover at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

During the course of the investigation, TBI Agents developed information leading to Robert Jesse Mount as the individual responsible for the incident.

Rumors continue to fly but details in the incident are still sparse in connection with the Saturday, January 14 slayings which occurred in a small subdivision near Bradyville.
