The children and/or the grandchildren of Sammie and Jennie (Tate) George: Nina Campbell, Inez Bogle, Ernestine Tate, Grady George, Howard George, Betty Ledna, and Frelan George, are your host for this event. Each year their descendants, friends, in-laws and outlaws meet on the second Saturday in August at the Gassaway Community Center and Fire Hall.

Everyone is invited to bring your favorite cuisine, enjoy a wonderful lunch, be blessed with the rekindling old kinships, share photos, precious memories, family history and maybe even a few tall tales.
