Brad Underwood, the 4th grade teacher at Short Mountain School, has been recognized by Channel 2 News as the Educator of the Week for Middle Tennessee. Underwood bringss creativity, innovation, technology and excitement to his students.  His segment will be aired sometime in September. Pictured with Underwood are Silvia Castaneda, projects manager for Channel 2 News, and camera person Denise Kerlikowske.

Good for you Mr. Underwood! I remember when my third child had you in 4th grade. You were the first "male" teacher any of them had ever had I was a liitle concerned. Little to my suprise..you were one of the best teachers any of them have ever had! More organized than I ever could of imagined, so much compassion and understanding. I'm so glad my child had you as he truly excelled in your class! Wish we could clones more teahcers like you!

Woodlands loss was Short Mt. gain, I still miss mr.Brad, he was wonderful for us.
