Price Of Gas Rises 27.7 Cents In Past Week

Average retail gasoline prices in Tennessee have risen 21.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.23/g Sunday.

This compares with the national average that has increased 17.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.34/g, according to gasoline price website TennesseeGasPrices.com.

Including the change in gas prices in Tennessee during the past week, prices yesterday were 65.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 30.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 25.3 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 64.9 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.

i wish there was a way everyone in America could boycott gas for 3 days...They would be running it down the ditchlines 10 cents a gallon then. Any exscuse to raise the prices, we only get 2 percent of our oil in Lybia....geeezzzz
