WPD Charges Three With Drug Offenses

Three men were charged with drug offenses following a traffic stop on South McCrary St. in Woodbury on Jan. 8.

Justin Barrett, 935 Simpson Rd., Bradyville, was charged with possession of a Schedule III drug (Lortab) and possession of drug paraphernalia (rolling papers) by Sgt. John House of the Woodbury Police Dept. Bond was set at $5,000.

Jerry Ray Gunter, 935 Simpson Rd., Bradyville, was charged with possession of a Schedule III drug (Lortab). Bond was set at $2,500.

Thomas Avent Muncy, 919 South McCrary St., Woodbury, was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia (plastic straw containing Lortab residue). His bond was set at $5,000.

Initial court date for all three men is Feb. 15.

No offense meant to the authorities making the arrest....but why waste taxpayers money arresting them....nothing will be done about it!
