Congratulations to the 4-H Club in Cannon County. I grew up in Cannon County and was a member of the 4-H Club under Mr. Clayton Glenn and Mrs. McFerrin. I am a graduate of CCHS and MTSU. I served 36 years as a US Tresury Department employee, retiring in 2003. My wife and I now live in St. Augustine, FL where we both work for a state agency at a Research Reserve. In 2006, I became a certified ATV Rider through the ATVSI. I am now a certified ATV Instructor, teaching state employees and volunteers how to safely ride ATVs on their jobs and in Marine Sea Turtle Patrols on the beaches. St. Augustine is near vast acres of farmland, and I frequently hear of youth riders who are injured or killed riding ATVs on or near roadways. The Cannon County 4-H Club is on the right track teaching riding safety. Congratulations!
