4-H Life Skills Team competes In Central Region Contest

The 4-H Life Skills Team competed in the Central Region Contest on Wednesday during the State Fair.

The team consisted of Cheyenne Fann, Catie Adams, Hannah Pate and Rachel Pate.

 The team studied food safety, indoor air quality, nutrition, career choices, physical activity, and counting back change in order to prepare for the contest.

The Cannon County team placed eighth in the contest with twenty-three teams.

They competed in the Quiz Bowl Contest as well, completing two rounds before being defeated by the Williamson County team who won the Quiz Bowl competition.

Great job girls!! And a special thanks to Carla and everyone at the UT Extension for all the hard work and hours they put in helping these 4Hers represent Cannon County!!
