Nell Witty Summar, 88, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at her home in Auburntown. She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon Summar of Auburntown; Daughters: Elizabeth Ann Barrett of Murfreesboro and Jamie Summar of Nashville; Granddaughter: Julie Walker of Readyville; Great grandson: Blake Walker; Great Great Granddaughter: McKenna Walker; Siblings: James Witty of Mt. Juliet, Howard Witty of McMinnville, Ann Fortner of Bellevue, Betty Shoemaker of Brentwood, Rosemary Geddes of Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lytle & Evelyn Melton Witty and her brother, Charles Witty.

A member of the Auburn Church of Christ, she was a branch manager of Bank of Commerce, Auburntown.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. David Dunn officiating.

Interment will follow in the Donnell Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Steve Smith, Jimmy Mingle, Mark Witty, Roger Turney, Ken Turney, Gary McClure.

Visitation with the family will be from 5 pm to 8 pm Friday, May 1, 2015 and Sat. from 12 noon until time of service.
