More meth cases bound over

Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:
Harley Don Brown pled guilty to DUI. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was partially suspended upon serving 48 hours, equal time on probation, 24 hours of litter removal, paying a $350 fine and the costs.

Desiree Andrews agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve 30 days and her probation was extended 9 months 17 days.

Joshua Daniel Clark pled guilty to possession of a schedule III drug. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $750 fine and the costs.

Chad Fox pled guilty to passing a worthless check. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail and ordered to pay restitution.

Christopher Allen Hoover agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve 60 days in jail and his probation was extended 11 months 29 days. In another case Hoover pled guilty to driving on a suspended license 2nd offense or more. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying a $50 fine and the costs.

Brittany Nicole Keyt McVey agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve her original sentence of 6 months.

William Huneke's charges of initiation of the process to manuf. methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling were bound over to the January term of the Grand Jury.


Woodbury Police

Possession of marijuana
Charles Scott Parker was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana. He was arrested by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Jan. 14 in General Sessions Court.

Theft Over $500, Aggravated burglary
Wesley Ryan Campbell was charged with with the aggravated burglary and the theft of a Toshiba TV. He was arrested by Assistant Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for Jan. 14 in General Sessions Court.

Aggravated burglary, Theft over $500
Shelby Jordan was charged with the aggravated burglary of a home and the theft of diamond earrings and a gold, herringbone necklace. Making the arrest was Patrolman Eric Moss. A hearing is set for Jan. 14 in General Sessions Court.

Aggravated burglary, Theft over $500
Wesley Campbell was charged with aggravated burglary and theft of a Samsung TV valued at $617. He was arrested by Patrolman Eric Moss. A hearing is set for Jan. 14 in General Sessions Court.

Cannon County Sheriff’s Department

Burglary investigated
A home on Simpson Road was burglarized while the family was at church attending a children’s Christmas play.
Entry was made by kicking in the back door. Among the items taken were a 32-inch TV, a Wii Game Station, eight Wii games in addition to medication for one of the children. Investigating was Deputy Michael Hainey.

Violation of probation
Alexander Kirk Webb was charged with violation of probation from Circuit Court on facilitation to initiate the process to manufacture methamphetamine and from General Sessions Court on assault, driving on a suspended license and attempted failure to appear.

Warrants Served
Gregory Arnold, violation of probation; Dustin Joseph Roberts, assault charges; Donald Carl Southers, driving on a suspended license; Charlie James King, violation of probation; Jamie Lynn Jones, violation of probation; and Jennifer D. Woodlee, violation of probation (attempted TennCare fraud).
