Mooneyham May Be Made Permanent Chief Tonight



Among the items the Woodbury Board of Mayor and Aldermen will consider when it meets Tuesday is naming Kevin Mooneyham as the town's permanent chief of police.

Mooneyham has served as interim chief since Tony Burnett left the department in March.

• Consider adoption of Ordinance No. 445 on first reading, an ordinance to amend the zoning ordinance of the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee to delete references to residential rear yard setbacks in the C-3 Commercial zoning district within the zoning ordinance.

• Consider adoption of Ordinance No.446 on first reading, an ordinance amending the original budget ordinance for the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee for the fiscal year 2011-2012.

• Consider appointment of Kevin Mooneyham as Chief of Police for the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee.

ORDINANCE NO. 444

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF WOODBURY, TENNESSEE:  TO ADD RESIDENTIAL PARKING REGULATIONS WITHIN THE ZONING ORDINANCE

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Mayor and Alderman for the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee as follows:

Section 1.  Article III, General Provisions, Section 7, Off-street Parking Requirements be amended to include the following:

RESIDENTIAL USES

• Bed and breakfast- 1 per guest room.
• Duplex – 2 per dwelling unit.
• Apartment/multifamily – 1.50 per dwelling unit.
• Mobile Home Park – 2 per Unit.
• Home Occupation – 1 Space per Home Occupation.
• Dwelling (Studio Efficient) – 1.5 spaces per studio.
• Dwelling (Single-Family) – 3 spaces per dwelling unit.
• Townhouse – 2 Spaces per dwelling unit.
• Condominium:
One Bedroom – 1.5 spaces.
Two Bedroom – 2 spaces per dwelling unit.
Three or More Bedrooms – 2.5 spaces per dwelling unit.
 
Section 2.  Effective Date.  This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its final passage as required by law.

ORDINANCE NO. 445


AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF WOODBURY, TENNESSEE:  TO DELETE REFERENCES TO RESIDENTIAL REAR YARD SETBACKS IN THE C-3 COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT WITHIN THE ZONING ORDINANCE

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Mayor and Alderman for the Town of Woodbury, Tennessee as follows:

Section 1.  Article IV, Zoning Districts and Map, Section 5, Highway Commercial District be amended to include the following:

The Following Wording Shall be Deleted from this Section:

E. MINIMUM LOT AREA, WIDTH, AND YARD REQUIREMENTS

All buildings or structures hereafter constructed in this district shall be located so as to comply with the following requirements:

3.  Minimum Depth of Rear Yard

a.  Residential uses - same as required in the R-2 District
b.  All other uses — 15 ft.

The Following Wording Shall be Added in Place of the Above:
