The following is a small journal of my trip with two of my brothers. The trip took over two weeks where we traveled on motorcycles for approximately 5,000 miles or 8,050 kilometers (1.61 times miles= kilometers). It was a trip that just about had to be made as we are all older with health problems. This story is really for me and my family, but I thought you might enjoy leaving Cannon County for a little while and taking this trip with us. I am dedicating it to my youngest sister, Gerilyn, who passed away from bone and brain cancer April 25, 2009.  ...

There was a time, not too many years ago, when I could tell you the name of the head football coach at any given high school in Tennessee. I didn't even need a reference sheet. All you had to do was throw out the name of a school and I would fire back with the name of that school's head football coach.
