The Cannon County School System will hold a series of public forums concerning the possibility of a school for middle grades students.

These forums are open to all citizens, and everyone is encouraged to attend the forum of convenience to ask questions and receive information.

Items for discussion will include the definition of a middle school, pros and cons of a middle school, placement, timeline, grade configuration, and public desire for a middle school.

The dates for the forums are as follows:

Jan. 24, 6:00 P.M., Woodbury Grammar School (cafeteria)

Jan. 31, 6:00 P.M., East Side School (gym)

Feb. 1, 6:00 P.M., Woodland School (cafeteria)

Feb. 5, 10:00 A.M., Cannon Cointy Courthouse

Feb. 15, 6:00 P.M., West Side School (gym)

Feb. 22, 6:00 P.M., Auburn School (gym)

Feb. 24, 6:00 P.M., Short Mountain School (cafeteria)
