Michael Jerry Pemberton, 56, of Woodbury passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at St. Thomas Rutherford. 

He is survived by his wife: Danna Pemberton of Woodbury; two Children:  Emily & Matthew Pemberton of Woodbury; his mother,  Eva L. Pemberton of Woodbury; siblings:  Jack Pemberton of Murfreesboro and Karen (Randy) Melton of Bradyville; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law:  Wayne & Katie Prater of Woodbury; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law:  Todd & Vickie Prater, Tracy & Clay Bell all of Woodbury. Several Nephews and Nieces also survive 

He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Pemberton and his mother-in-law, Janet Prater. 

A member of the Woodbury Church of Christ, he was a truck driver, a farmer and a horse trainer.  He was also a member of the Tennessee Muleskinners Assoc. and the JP Arena Memorial Assoc.   

Mike was a loving husband, wonderful father, cowboy and had many friends.  If you needed something, Mike wouldn’t just give it to you he would give you a way to earn it.  No matter the task, big or small he would always get it done. 

Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at  1:00 pm Thursday, March 27, 2014 wiith Bro. Herb Alsup officiating.  Interment will follow in the McMahan Cemetery 

Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm – 8 pm Wednesdaym Narch 26 and Thursday from 10 am until time of service 

Pallbearers:  David, Donald, Terry & Charles Preston, Dwayne Cawthon and Paul Parker 

Honorary Pallbearers:  Kenny Gilley & Andy Parker
