Meth Lab Busted, Six Charged

Acting on a tip about methamphetamine being manufactured at a residence on Meadowbrook Drive in Woodbury, officers with the Woodbury Police Dept. and the Cannon County Sheriff's Dept. responded to the Meadowbrook Drive location on Aug. 14.

Once there officers were denied access to the residence, but did notice there were people present who had made pseudoephedrine purchases as early as the day before.

Officers then secured the residence and a search warrant for the property was obtained.

Upon going back to the residence and executing the search warrant, several items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine were found both inside the residence as well as an outbuilding on the property.

While searching a dry creek bed behind the residence, a male and female subject were found lying on the ground. When told to get up, they acted as if they were asleep and wanted to know what was going on.

A further search of the area produced more evidence of methamphetamine manufacture.
