Meth cases, probations in General Sessions



Judge Susan Melton presided over General Sessions Court on Tuesday. Some of the results of the various cases that appeared on the docket included:

Ronnie Lee Baxter Jr. pled guilty to criminal littering. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, 20 hours of litter removal and paying the costs.

Blake D. Burton pled guilty to 4 counts of passing a worthless check. In each count he was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. Those sentences were suspended upon equal time on probation, paying restitution and paying the costs.

Jamie Lee Allen Copley pled guilty to theft under $500.00. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation and paying the costs.

Sarah Renee Roller Grizzle agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve 80 days and her probation was extended 10 months 9 days.

Michael Eugene Lattimore pled guilty to driving while license suspended. He was sentenced to 6 months in jail.

Shantel C. Neel agreed to the violation of her probation. She was ordered to serve her original sentence of 11 months 29 days.

Cody Ray Parsley agreed to the violation of his probation. His probation was extended 6 months.

Jacob William Steele agreed to the violation of his probation. He was ordered to serve his original sentence.

Richard S. Tenpenny pled guilty to theft under $500.00. He was sentenced to 11 months 29 days in jail. That sentence was suspended upon equal time on probation, paying restitution and paying the costs.

Bobby Jerome Davenport Jr.'s charges of animals at large, initiating the process to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of a schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and filing a false report were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

John Elmer Fletcher's charges of possession of a schedule VI drug, retaliation for past actions and filing false reports were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Ronnie Eugene Gilley's charges of driving on a revoked license 6th offense and driving as a habitual offender were bound over to the September term of the Grand Jury.

Woodbury Police
Gregory A. Smith was charged with disorderly conduct, vandalism and an alcohol violation by Woodbury Police.

Scotty Glenn Grizzle was charged with driving on a revoked license. A hearing is set for July 23 in General Sessions Court.

Christopher Allen Case was charged with driving on a suspended license. A hearing is set for July 23 in General Sessions Court.

Sunshine Moshell Brew was charged with driving on a suspended license. A hearing is set for July 23 in General Sessions Court.

Daniel G. Taylor Jr. was charged with driving on a suspended license. A hearing was set August 27 in General Sessions Court.

Notice - The Jamie Jones pictured in last week’s Cannon Courier for simple possession of a Schedule VI drug was not the correct Jamie Jones. The arrested, Jamie Jones, is male.
