Mary Pearl Harris, 83, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Stones River Hospital following an extended illness.

A native of Cannon Co. and resident of Woodbury, she was a retired seamstress from Colonial Corp. and member of the Woodbury Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Stella Todd, her husband, William Bragg Harris and a daughter, Sandra Travis, and siblings Pauline Odom, Carl Todd, Roberta Nichols, Mack Todd and Ruby Todd.

Surviving are a son, Larry and Debbie Harris of Hendersonville; a son-in-law, John Travis of Brentwood; three grandchildren, Ashley and Scott Harris of Hendersonville and Kyle Travis of Nashville.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Woodbury Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Brother Herb Alsup officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Gardens.
