Martha Lynne Daniel Jennings, 62, died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her home in the Short Mountain Community. She was a Cannon County native who was a member of the Methodist Church. Martha was a retired Special Education teacher who taught at Eastside, Short Mountain and Cannon County High schools. Survivors:   Brother: Terry Daniel of Woodbury. Sisters-in-law: MaryAnne Daniel of Bradyville and Charlie Mae Daniel & Virginia Daniel both of Smithville. Also surviving are 5 nephews & 3 nieces; 9 great nephews & 1 great niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelah & Florence Gunter Daniel; her husband, William Jennings; Son, Thomas Milton Howell, II; Siblings, Joe, Billy & Jackie Daniel. Graveside services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 with Bro. Freddy Curtis officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Pallbearers: Martin & Will Daniel, Daniel & Jeffrey Northcutt, Matt & Skylar Daniel.
