Margaret Ann Melton

Margaret Ann Melton, age 80, died Monday, February 15, 2010 at Stones River Hospital following an extended illness.

Melton, a homemaker, was a resident of Woodbury and a native of Cannon County. She was the daughter of the late Wiley and Effie Sullins Melton.

Survivors include three sisters. Ophia Turner, Josephine Ferrell and Dorothy Douglas, all of Woodbury, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lillian Ferrell.

Private graveside services will be held Thursday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Woodbury Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
