Man Leaves Woodbury With Multiple Charges

A Charlotte, Tennessee man who was coming into Woodbury on Nov. 13 left town facing multiple charges.

Dennis Ray Curtis, 1340 Old Country House Rd., Charlotte (Cheatham County) was driving a black 2008 Lincoln SLW on West Main St. (John Bragg Hwy.) when he was stopped for speeding (70/55) by Woodbury Police Dept. Sgt. John House near the Arts Center.

During the course of the stop and ensuing investigation by Sgt. House, Curtis was also charged with DUI 1st Offense, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (rolling papers, hitter pipe and pipe screens), and Violation of the Implied Consent Law.

Bond was set at $7,000. Initial court date is Dec. 14.
