Man goes missing ... so does furniture

Cannon County Sheriff's Deputy Dakota Liles took a report of a theft at the sheriff's department on June 11 from Della Johnson.

According to the Liles' report, Johnson stated when she left for vacation there was a man that lived with her at that time. Johnson couldn't think of the man's name.

Johnson also stated she left on May 5 and come back home on June 8. Upon her return, she noticed all of her property was missing from her house and the man who was staying there was gone as well.

She said tried to contact the man and his phone number had been changed.

Johnson stated the following property was missing: A laptop computer and 3 bedroom sets (one king, one queen and one full), a living room set, a washer & dryer and some kitchen items.

The case is under investigation.
