Man Goes Batty Over Kids' Dirty Bedrooms



Two people were arrested following a disturbance at a Hayes St. residence on April 30.

Woodbury Patrolman Patrick Fann and Chief Kevin Mooneyham were dispatched to319 Hayes St.on that date in reference to a physical domestic in progress.

When they arrived they witnessed several people on the front porch yelling at each other. After Officer Fann and Chief Mooneyham got the parties separated, Officer Fann spoke with Audrey Miller, who stated Kevin Bryant started “raising hell” because her two kids didn’t clean their bedroom when they were told to.

Miller stated she and Bryant started arguing and when Bryant got in her face she shoved him backwards.

Bryant said he and Miller got in an argument over her kids’ behavior and she shoved him down.

A witness, Roxan Miller, said Bryant and Miller were arguing and Miller pushed Bryant down and then at some point Miller’s boyfriend, Matthew Nimens, got between them and then Bryant went inside and got an aluminum baseball bat and went back outside and raised it like he was going to hit Nimens.

Miller was charged with Domestic Assault and Bryant was charged with Aggravated Domestic Assault. Bryant’s bond was set at $3,500 and Miller’s $800. Both are set to make their initial court appearance on June 12.
