Man Charged With Stealing Panties, Bra, Cell Phone

Following are recent charges filed by officers of the Cannon County Sheriff's Dept. and the Woodbury Police Dept.

• Caden Kensley Jones, 225 Hopewell Rd., Bradyville, was charged with theft of property under $500 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney on April 14. According to the arrest warrant, Jones, between the dates of March 2 and March 21, allegedly stole two pairs of panties, one bra and one cell phone. Bond was set at $1,800. Initial court date is May 3.

• Randy Wade Holden, 615 Fairview Dr., Murfreesboro, was charged with driving under the influence, second offense, and violation of the implied consent law on April 14 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Travis Turney. Deputy Turney observed Holden’s vehicle traveling north on Jim Cummings Highway at a low rate of speed with heavy braking and weaving. The driver was also not wearing a seat belt. Upon making contact with the driver, Holden, Deputy Turney could detect a strong odor consistent with an alcoholic beverage. Holden failed to satisfactorily perform field sobriety tests, according to the warrant, and refused a blood alcohol test. Bond was set at $2,500. Initial court date is June 7.

• William Richard Barrett, 106 Kay Parker Rd., Beechgroove, was served a warrant on April 12 by Woodbury Assistant Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham charging him with violation of the ignition interlock requirement stemming from a Jan. 3 incident. Bond was set at $100. Initial court date is July 12.

• Jose Campa, 527 E. Sevier St., Murfreesboro, was charged with no driver’s license on April 15 by Woodbury Patrolman Chris Brown following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is May 10.

• Marissa Jean Epps, 4187 Apache Trail, Antioch, was charged with driving on a suspended license by Woodbury Sgt. John House following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is May 10.

• Ronald Wayne Jernigan Jr., 844 Odell Powell Rd., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on April 9 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Investigator Anthony Young following a traffic stop of Pleasant View Rd. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is May 31.

• Jessica L. McCarthy, 5808 Cricket Lane, Bensalem, PA, was charged with driving on a suspended license by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Moss on April 16. Deputy Moss stopped the vehicle McCarthy was driving on W. Main St. for driving recklessly. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is May 3.

• Joshua Van Reed, 318 McMinnville Hwy., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on April 14 by Woodbury Sgt. John House following a traffic stop on W. Main St. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is May 10.

• Ricky R. Rodgers, 6667 Short Mountain Rd., McMinnville, was charged with driving on a suspended license on April 14 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McMillen. Deputy McMillen stopped Rodgers’ vehicle on McMinnville Hwy. for suspicion of driving under the influence. Rodgers did not have a driver’s license in his possession. A check of his driving record showed his license had been suspended for failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility. Bond was set at $1,000. Initial court date is May 3.
