Multiple charges
Brent Neal Mingle was charged with DUI, simple possession, open container and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Tracey Stoetzel. A hearing on the charges was set for March 10 in General Sessions Court.


Driving on a revoked
Herbert E. Vickers Jr. was charged with driving on a revoked license by Chief Kevin Mooneyham. A hearing is set for April 14 in General Sessions Court.


Order of protection
Wesley Paul Scott was charged with a violation of an order of protection and criminal trespass by Patrolman Tracey Stoetzel. It was Scott's second offense on this charge. A hearing was set for March 2 in General Sessions Court.

Failed to register
Joseph Patrick Dyer was charged with failure to register as a sex offender by Chief Deputy Anthony Young following his arrest on other charges.
Dyer told Young that he had been arrested at Hardee's for public drunkenness in Woodbury because his girlfriend had kicked him out of her car.
After checking the state data base, Young charged Dyer with failing to register.

Driving on a suspended
Ethan Parton was charged by Deputy Andrew Colwell for driving on a suspended license after he was stopped by Deputy Paul Reed at the intersection of Jim Cummings Highway and Iconium Road.

Reports of vandalism
An estimated $700 in damages was done to the dance floor at the Cannon County Walking Horse Association's campground. A number of lights were also shot out at the campground.

Deputy Andrew Colwell was dispatched to the area of 3654 Jim Cummings Highway where a witness had spotted a vehicle cutting donuts in a field just past Dollar General Store. No one was apprehended and the witness "thought it might be some kids."

Charles Nicholas May, violation of probation and amended violation of probation.

Dale Matthew Walls, capias.

Randall C. Smotherman, amended violation of probation.

Nathan Butts, warrant.

Bobby L. Jones, violation of probation.

Nathan Lewayne Davis, child support attachment warrant.
