Man Allegedly Pulls Knife On Domestic Violence Victim

• Dustin Lee Alsup, 5440 Old Murfreesboro Rd., Readyville, was charged with Domestic Assault on Feb. 5 by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Seth Perry. Alsup allegedly grabbed the purported victim by the hair, pulled a knife on her, and shoved her down. Bond was set at $1,000. Initial court date is March 6.

• Amy Jo Nichols, 688 Manustown Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Domestic Assault on Feb. 5 by Woodbury Patrolman Patrick Fann. Nichols came to the police department and admitted she assault the purported victim, who had earlier come to the department and reported the incident. Bond was set at $500. Initial court date is March 13.

• Thomas Wade Reed, 7553 Hollow Springs Rd., Bradyville, was served an arrest warrant charging him with harassment on Feb. 9. The warrant was obtained by the purported victim, who alleges that Reed “knowingly and unlawfully did make one or more telephone calls to (the victim) without legitimate purpose of communication, knowing said calls to be annoying or alarming to said recipient.” Bond was fixed at $2,500. Initial court date is March 9.
