Mallie Tate Taylor

Mallie Opal Tate Taylor, 103, died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

A native of Cannon County, she was a member of the Clear Fork Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Izzie Patterson Tate; her husband, William C. Taylor and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Randall Taylor of Auburntown; Rachel Melton of Auburntown; Wayne (Kathy) Taylor of Woodbury and Darlene (Jack) Knowles of Baxter; a sister, Shelby Vickers of Woodbury; grandchildren, Don Paul Taylor, Aubrey (Rachel) Taylor, Cody Taylor and Ethan Taylor, Misty and Melissa Melton, Dustin (Jessica) Taylor, Lacey (Chris) Buchanan; 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled at Woodbury Funeral Home on Monday, August 26, 2013 with  Bro. Mark Stinnett officiating. Burial is in Sycamore Cemetery.
