Funeral services for Mrs. Magneta Jernigan Deberry, age 79 of Bradyville will be conducted Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Deberry passed away Monday, February 8, 2010 in Manchester.

She was born April 23, 1930 in Coffee County the daughter of the late Estle Jernigan and Dorothy Floyd Jernigan. She was a homemaker and a seamstress and enjoyed traveling with her husband, Cecil and playing cards. She was a member of Midway Church of Christ for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Alice Jernigan, Lurli Jernigan Floyd and brothers, Keithley Jernigan, Levi Jernigan and Brantley Jernigan; brothers-in-law, Bobby Stepp and Othra Floyd.

Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Cecil Deberry of Bradyville, sisters, Birdie Stepp of the Noah community, Blonda Parker and husband, Jackie of Manchester, Virginia Rigsby and husband, Jimmy of Woodbury and Hazel Woods and husband, Ray of Columbia, TN; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces, great-nephews and many loving other family members and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in loving memory of Mrs. Deberry to the Midway Church of Christ or the Midway Cemetery Fund in care of Doyle Duke.
