Funeral services for Mae Harris Gannon, 79, will be held Wednesday, December 23 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Marion West officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery with Woodbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Gannon died Sunday, December 20 at Northside Health Care in Murfreesboro after an extended illness.

A native of Cannon County, she was preceded in death by her parents, James Vester Harris and Sarah Azaline Prater Harris; her husband, Norman Gannon and siblings, Cathlean Bogle, John Dee Harris, Thelma Bernal, Ina Robinson, Waldon Harris and Bratten Harris. A member of Science Hill Church of Christ, she was retired from Chromolox.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmy and Annette Goins of Winchester; Darrell and Lou Goins of Woodbury and Duane and Sharon Gannon of Kittrell; two sisters, Lily Todd and Beulah Henderson, both of Kittrell; a brother, James Hoyte Harris of Paris, Illinois; four granddaughters, Michelle Oliver, Amy Goins, Tabby Ragland and Trina Jones; great grandchildren, Adam, Mary, Elizabeth, Eli, Nolan, Dawson, Jordan and Wyatt and special caregiver, Jill Hendrickson.
