Mabel (Paschal) Carter

Mrs. Mabel R. (Paschal) Carter formerly of Woodbury died Jan. 11, 2010 in Wayne, Michigan. She was born Jan. 20, 1932 in Readyville, TN. Her parents were the late Charlie Joshua Paschal and Eppie Anne (Campbell) Paschal. She is also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Paschal and a sister, Ada Pitts.

Survivors include her two sons, Danny & Rosemary Carter of Michigan and Jerry & Cindy Carter of Arizona; a sister, Christine Pitts of Murfreesboro; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren; nieces, Mary Pitts and Sarah Zapotocky and several great nieces & nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted in Wayne, MI by Vermeulen Funeral Home on Jan. 14, 2010 at the Community Free Will Baptist Church.

Local visitation will be held Sat., Jan. 16, 2010 from 10-12 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Leonard Herman will officiate.
