Mr. Lowell Layton (The Bug Man) Morris age 79 of McMinnville, TN (Centertown Community) died Friday, January 28, 2011, at his residence.

He was born October 15, 1931, in Cannon County, TN, was the founder of A. & K. Termite & Pest Control, member of Central Church of Christ, member of Warren County Lions Club, former alderman for the City of Centertown, and a former Jaycee. Mr. Morris was preceded in death by parents Mark and Robbie Moore Morris, sisters Joyce Grizzell and Rayola Teal, a brother Curtis Morris, and grandson Heath (Opie) Morris.

Survivors include his wife Patricia Jordan Morris, son and daughter-in-law Anthony and Bernie Morris, daughter and son-in-law Kreta and Mike Slatton, a sister Judy Shewmake, grandchildren Desiree and Chris Hobbs, Sallie Slatton, Jonathan Morris, and Isaac Slatton, great-grandchildren Chance Hobbs and Mia Hobbs, nieces, nephews, and special cousins also survive.

Funeral service is 3 P.M. Sunday, January 30, 2011, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Herb Alsup and Bro. Charles Bogle will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Morris Family will receive friends Saturday from 3 P.M. until 8 P.M. and again Sunday from 11 A.M. until 3 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Church of Christ Building Fund, Caris Healthcare Hospice, Centertown School Library, or to a charity of your choice.
