Lowe charged with multiple offenses

A Rutherford County man with active warrants from Cannon and Bedford County was arrested over the weekend after Murfreesboro Police Dispatchers put a bulletin out on 27-year-old Travis Lowe of Flat Rock Road.
Murfreesboro Police reported officers were able to locate the car Lowe was driving. They had just been to the Econolodge motel to speak a relative of Lowe's who had just filed a police report in regards to someone stealing a license plate off a vehicle
The dispatch advised that Lowe may be en route to the motel. After police located Lowe at the motel he was taken into custody without incident. Police found a small amount of marijuana and a pack of rolling papers. In addition to the failure to appear warrant out of Cannon County, he was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The warrant out of Bedford County was for criminal impersonation.

Dogs foil burglar
Deputy Randy Wildes was dispatched to investigate an attempted burglary on Odell Powell Road.
The home owner told Wildes that a deck door had been forced open. The door and door frame were broken and the door was standing open.
"It is believed that the intruder(s) never made it from the doorway into the residence due to that fact she had several large dogs in the residence," Wildes reported.
The damage was estimated at approximately $1,000.

Multiple Charges
Sheldon W. Swoape was charged with DUI and possession of a firearm while intoxicated following a traffic stop on John Bragg Highway. Making the arrest was Deputy Randy Wildes.

Rickey Scott was charged with DUI, possession of a handgun while under the influence, unlawful possession of a firearm and simple possession of a Schedule III drug (Hydrocodone).
Deputy Mike Hainey spotted Scott "driving though the yard of the residence at 213 Petty Gap. I pulled my patrol car forward onto Petty Gap in order to gain a better view and observed said vehicle drive briefly onto the roadway, then into a ditch at 185 Petty Gap."
An unloaded single-shot .22-caliber derringer was discovered into Scott's back pocket.

Roy Wade Holloway III was charged with driving on a revoked license, leaving the scene and financial responsibility following an single-car accident on Dickens Hill Road. Making the arrest was Deputy Andrew Colwell.

Jeremy Duke charged by warrant with a violation of probation.

Arrests
Jason W. Arnold was charged with driving on a suspended license by Chief Kevin Mooneyham. A hearing is set for Nov. 11 in General Sessions Court.

William Anthony Miller was charged with DUI by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for Oct. 4 in General Sessions Court.

Derek Allen Merrill was charged with criminal trespassing by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for Dec. 9 in General Sessions Court.

Kenneth Wayne Johnson III was charged with possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and driving on a revoked license by Patrolman Jimmie Hayes. A hearing is set for Nov. 11 in General Sessions Court.

Deborah G. Melton was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman Tracey Stoetzel. A hearing is set for Dec. 9 in General Sessions Court.

Tisha Dawn Troutt was charged with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Nov. 11 in General Sessions Court.

Jessica Nelson was charged with driving on a suspended license and with a financial responsibility violation by Patrolman Tracey Stoetzel. A hearing is set for Dec. 9 in General Sessions Court.

Brandy M. Bain was charged with possession of a controlled substance, Diazepam and with simple possession of marijuana by Patrolman Jimmie Hayes. A hearing is set for Nov. 11 in General Sessions Court.

Desiree Jean Schultz was charged with criminal trespassing by Patrolman Brent Brock. A hearing is set for Nov. 11 in General Sessions Court.
