Robin Taylor has decided to close Bird Song Studio on W. High St. (next to the Woodbury Post Office). Taylor made the announcement in an email on Thursday which read as follows:

Dear friends and loved ones,

After four wonderful years in Woodbury, Tennessee, including over 40 shows on our beautiful stage, over 200 Airbnb guests, and over 50 5-Star Airbnb ratings, I will be moving out of the church on June 30th and I will be closing Bird Song Studio, effective immediately.

I have come to realize that for a variety of reasons, living in the church is not sustainable for me in the long run.

I've decided to take this opportunity to move back to Nashville and to pursue my dreams as a songwriter and performing artist.

I deeply apologize for having to cancel the remainder of the 2018 Roots Music Series, and I regret missing future opportunities to serve you at Bird Song Studio.

All tickets purchased for future shows will be refunded.

My time in Woodbury has been one of the great joys of my life and I cannot thank you enough for your support of my venue and for joining me on this creative journey.

You have all helped to give me purpose and meaning during my time here in Woodbury, as well as an opportunity to serve my community. And for that I am forever grateful.

This goodbye is bittersweet, as I am very excited about the future and also very sad to close the doors here in Woodbury.

I hope you will continue to support the Woodbury community and to find ways to support the arts in your area.

Specifically, I hope you might connect with some of the other wonderful creative folks and endeavors here in Cannon County, including The Arts Center of Cannon County, Short Mountain Distillery, Half Hill Farm, Alan Daigre Designs, Duffer's Restorations, The White Oak Craft Fair, Lynn's Pickett Fence, and of course our songwriting neighbors in Woodbury, McMinnville, Murfreesboro and surrounding areas.

I will be having a moving sale this Saturday, June 2nd, from 8am-Noon, at the church. I'll be selling furniture, clothes and a few Bird Song items. Please come by and say hello if you're free!

Please do keep up with me via my website at www.robyntaylormusic.com.

Again, I cannot thank you enough for your support. I hope to see you all soon.

All my love,

Robyn Taylor
