Local 4-H Poultry Judging Team places first

Congratulations to the Cannon County 4-H Poultry Judging teams! Cannon County 4-H members competed at the Central Region 4-H Poultry Judging Contest held in Lebanon, TN on September 26, 2019. Congratulations to the Cannon County 4-H Senior High Poultry Judging Team for winning 1st at the Central Region 4-H Poultry Judging Contest! The senior high team will advance to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in October for the state contest. All eight 4-H members spent many hours practicing and we are very proud of all of them. Congratulations to the participants that were recognized as the high scoring individuals Abbye Moore for ranking 2nd, Will Byford 3rd and Abigail Buchanan in 8th. With a junior individual participant, junior high team and senior high team, the Cannon County 4-H program was well represented at the Central Region 4-H Poultry Judging Contest.
