The slogan this season is "Restore The Roar" and Friday night against Red Boiling Springs, the Cannon County Lions made sure the roar was loud enough to be heard all the way back to Macon County in a 47-6 win over the 1-A team. The 47 points marked the first time since a 53-7 win over Jackson County, Cannon's next opponent, in 2008 that the Lions posted more than 40 points in a win and the first time since the mercy rule was invoked that Cannon was on the positive end of the 35 plus point advantage that kept the clock running the entire second half.
