A.J. Daniel put the finishing touches on a good senior season with two touchdowns and 123 yards rushing on just 13 carries but it wasn't enough as Cannon County dropped a 26-14 decision at Upperman.

The Lions (1-9, 1-5) were able to hang around and make the game interesting in the fourth quarter but they were unable to get over the hump against the Bees (6-4, 2-4).

Daniel ripped off a 53-yard touchdown run in the second quarter and added a 23-yard scamper for a score in the third quarter. That was the extend of the Lions' scoring.

The defense played well once again and kept the Lions in the game.

Junior linebacker Eldon Resko had a strong effort to finish the season. Resko, who has been one of the team's most consistent defenders all season, finished with a game-high 13 tackles.

Case Isenhart has been a senior defensive stalwart and added 12 stops in another strong game.

Jake Walkup finished the game with seven tackles, including one sack, and added an interception.

Daniel and Billy Motlow finished with seven tackles each. Motlow also had a sack.
