Linda Elizabeth Pease, 71, born September 26, 1938 passed away peacefully in her sleep May 19, 2010. Born in Chattanooga, TN. Married her high school love in 1960, traveled the world and fell in love with Woodbury, TN and Laredo, TX.

Laredo resident since 1983. She was a memeber of the Texas Cattle Woman's Association, Republican Woman's Club, Tuesday Literary Society and Christ Church Episcopal.

Friend to many, loving mother of Mark H. Pease of McAllen, TX and Elizabeth M. Pease of Woodbury, TN. Grandmother of Mark Houston Pease II, Ashley Morgan Pease and Sofia Timberlake Pease. Beloved wife of Mark Crittenden Pease of Laredo, TX. She spent some of the happiest days of her life at Beaver Dam, her husband's family home in Woodbury, TN.

A memorial service was held at Christ Church Episcopal in Laredo, TX. Smith Funeral Home will hold a brief graveside ceremony on August 7, 2010 at 10:00 Am at the Riverside Cemetery in Woodbury. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. www.smithfuneralhomewoodbury.net (615)563-5337.
