Linda Ann Smith Jernigan, 67, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at her home following a sudden illness.

A resident of Readyville, she was a native of Franklin Co., TN

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Kenneth T. Jernigan of Readyville; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Michael Nichols of Bradyville; son, Chris Jernigan of Readyville; three grandchildren, Kallie Mullins and Kenna Jo Mullins of Christiana and Zoe Nichols of Bradyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe David Smith and Alice Woodard Smith, daughter, Lydia Jernigan Mullins and brother, Bobby Joe Smith.

Mrs. Jernigan was a member of the Curlee Church of Christ and was a retired RN, with 33 years of service at Stones River Hospital.  

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home  at 10:00 a.m.Saturday, March 26, 2011 with Bro. Kyle Webb officiating.

Burial will be in Cherry Cemetery.  

Visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2011 from 4 pm till 9 pm.
