Lewis Wayne Davis

Lewis Wayne Davis, 58, died Friday, April 1, 2011 at his home in McMinnville.

Mr. Davis was a native of Cannon County, TN.

He is survived by two children, Rhonda Lee Drake of McMinnville and Lymon Douglas Davis of McMinnville; a stepdaughter,  Janice Hennessee of Van Buren, Co.; five siblings, Patsy Cook of McMinnville, Bobby (Kathy) Davis of Woodbury, Landon (Katherine) Davis of Murfreesboro, Doran (Donna) Davis of VA, Linda (William) Cook of Westland, MI and Judy (Lawrence) York of Trousdale, TN.; and grandchildren, Dylan and Dawson Drake, Jeremiah, Ethan and Isabell Davis, Kalana and Galen Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyman and Hester Barrett Davis.

A member of the Baptist Church, Mr. Davis was a retired from Carrier Corp.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home  at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2011.

Burial will be in Blue Wing Cemetery.     

Visitation will be at 11 am Monday, April 4, 2011.
