To the Editor:
Many many thanks to all the wonderful people from everywhere who attended our first Halloween Spooktacular Fall Fest at the Short Mountain Trading Post. All the joyous amused laughter, hugs and pure fellowship was terrific. Children and dults alike joined in the fun with playing Halloween games with JD, winning prizes, viewing the unique graveyard , face painting by Tatum and costume judging.
Savannah in her witch costume read fortunes for young and old up in her Loft and had many gift and antique shoppers in a satisfied flurry.
Purchases were made from handcrafted knitwear by Tellie's , Karen's refurbished and woodburning items along with unique pottery, jewlelry, herbs by Diane, horseshoe art, glassware and homemade soaps.
Jai's spectacular gourd lamps,John's handmade candles, Mish's collection of back in the day wares and Tatum and Boyce's collector's corner were successful in drawing attention from all.
