To the Editor

Rep. Pody is well within his rights to introduce House Bill 1412. We must ask his help to keep Tennessee as an example of our state's politics dating back to the Scopes' Monkey Trial. Andrew Jackson didn't institute the Trail of Tears because native tribes were an affront to Christianity. In my opinion it was a land grab so more people would have a place to call home.

Something Mark might include in his bill would be the prohibition of any non-Christians from serving in state, county or local government. I am comforted that Mark's ability to serve all his constituents isn't compromised by tolerance or Pollyanna-ism.
