Lengthy Docket For General Sessions Court Tuesday

The Tuesday docket for the Cannon County General Session Court of Judge Susan Melton is especially lengthy this week.

The unfortunate passing of former Judge James K. Clayton, Jr. prior to court last week necessitated the rescheduling of a large number of cases to tomorrow.

Those persons scheduled to appear in court Tuesday include:

Phillip Mark Adams, domestic assault, aggravated assault and vandalism under $500.

Dominick Luke Amari, underage possession of alcohol.

Terry Scott Austin, domestic assault.

Matthew Allen Baker, aggravated burglary, criminal trespass, theft over $10,000, possession of Schedule II drugs and introducing contraband into a penal institution.

Brandi Nicole Banks, possession of a Legend drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jerry Dean Barrett, initiating the process to manufacture methamphetamine, manufacture of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of Schedule II drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and aggravated domestic assault.
