NOTICE OF PROPERTY FOR SALE
USDA, Farm Service Agency offers for sale 29. 52 acres, more or less, of land located in Warren County, TN.  The property is 8 miles west from McMinnville, TN.  The property contains a shop and storage shed.  The legal description is:  Beginning on an iron pin in the south margin of Unity Road Bratcher's northwest corner; thence with Bratcher's line south 07 deg. 24' West, 1939.84 feet to an iron pin in a drainage easement, Vaughn's northeast corner; thence with Vaughn's line south 88 deg. 36' West 652.35 feet to an iron pin; thence north 07 deg. 24' East 2047.93 feet to an iron pin in the south margin of Unity Road; thence with Unity Road south 81 deg. 52' East 645 feet to the place of beginning.  Being Tracts 1, 2, 3 of the Bratcher property by survey by Thaxton & Bartlett, dated March 25, 1987.
The sale will be conducted by sealed bids.  Sealed bids will be submitted on FSA 2592, Invitation, Bid, and Acceptance Sale of Real Property by the United States, which can be obtained in any FSA Office or can be printed from the FSA Internet site at http://forms.sc.egov.usda.gov/efcommon/eFileServices/eForms/FSA2592.PDF. Bidders must include a deposit of 10 percent of the bid amount.  The deposit must be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, postal or bank money order, or bank draft payable to FSA.

Bids for the  subject property will be received at the Warren County FSA Office located at 811 Faulkner Springs Rd,   McMinnville, TN  37110 until September 23, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. central time and then the bids will be publicly opened.  The bid will be considered delivered when actually received at the FSA Office in Warren County located in a sealed envelope marked as follows:

Property will be sold "as is" and subject to unpaid property taxes.   Payment in full must be furnished by October 8, 2010. The market value of the property is $116,000.00.  If there are no acceptable bids, FSA will attempt to sell the property through a negotiated sale after the bid opening with all bidders and other interested parties.  
FSA reserves the right to cancel the sale at any time during the sale process and also reserves the right to reject any or all bids for the described property.

NOTICE OF MEETING & PUBLIC HEARING

CANNON COUNTY 9-1-1 BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of the Cannon County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications District will meet at 6:30 p.m., October 12 in the Conference Room of the Stones River Hospital in Woodbury, Tennessee, or such other location as may be posted at the Courthouse, where and which time the Board will consider any matter that may be properly presented. Meetings of the Board are at the same time and location on the 2nd Tuesday of the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December. A public hearing is held at the June meeting for the purpose of reviewing the budget proposed for the fiscal year that begins July 1. The public is invited to all meetings.

Bid Notice

The Town of Woodbury is accepting bids for work to be performed on the tennis courts and basketball court at the Brown-Spurlock Park.

Double tennis Court:  Clean court, seal base cracks with Color Acrylic Deep Patch and Crack Sealer; raise low areas that hold excessive water with leveling mix; install one coat of resurfacer; install two coats of Color Courts Colorcoat (red and dark green); Install three sets of lines marked for doubles play.

Single tennis court:  Clean court, seal base cracks with Color Acrylic Deep Patch and Crack Sealer; raise low areas that hold excessive water with leveling mix; install one coat of resurfacer; install two coats of Color Courts Colorcoat (red and dark green); Install line markings.

Basketball Court:  Clean court; seal cracks; resurface and paint lines.

Please indicate separate price for each court.
 
All work must be completed within 90 days of contract.
