The Tennessee Lady Storm AAU basketball team has recently been invited to the 2018 World Youth Basketball Tournament in Kailua- Kona, Hawaii on July 25-29, 2018.

The Lady Storm is coached by Billy Cornelison, a 1990 graduate of Cannon County High School and current resident of Woodbury.

Coach Cornelison founded the Storm in 2013 as a boy's program and ran as such through 2016, but is making the change to girl's basketball in 2018.

In the Storm organization's short existence, Coach Cornelison has led the program to wins in over 65% of its games, won numerous championships and has placed over 20 athletes into college in four seasons. The Storm prides itself in seeing its players make it to the next level.

Coach Cornelison hopes competing against international competition at this world event will help gain extra exposure for these girls in getting them a scholarship.

Not only will the Lady Storm be attending the Hawaii tournament in 2018, but they are also set to compete in the TKO National Championships and the YBOA State Championships.

Other big events soon to be added to the Lady Storm schedule. The Lady Storm have begun recruiting and will be filling its roster with players throughout Tennessee. We will consist of girls who will be in the 10th and 11th grades this school year.
