Kenny Sissom

Kenny Sissom, 64, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Thomas Hospital following an extended illness.

A resident of Woodbury, Mr. Sissom was a native of Cannon County.

Survivors include is wife, Betty Jo Sissom of Woodbury; stepson, Jeff (Melissa) Markum of Woodbury; step grandson, Justin Markum of Woodbury; sister, Dean (Nyle) Francis of Woodbury; nephew, Jeff Francis of Murfreesboro; niece, Jana Hobbs of Hendersonville; three great nieces, Kelly Francis, Hannah and Ally Hobbs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ora Parker Sissom and Stepson, Rodney Markum.

A member of Hollow Springs Community Church, he was retired from Quality Industries in Lavergne.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with Bro. Joe Sissom and Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.

Burial will be in Riverside Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Arnold, Charles Johnson, Ryan Young, Stevie Grizzle, Michael Estes, Shannon Lane, Tim Cunningham, Terry Burks, Scottie Sissom and Dek Sissom.
