Kenneth Don Franklin

Kenneth Don Franklin, 73, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the VA Hospital in Murfreesboro following an extended illness.

A native of Coffee County, he was a resident Bradyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents: late William & Grace Elizabeth York Franklin; son, Steven C. Franklin; siblings, Vonda Petgen, Jerry C. Franklin, and William Harvey Franklin

Survivors include: wife of 53 years: Betty Harrell Franklin of Bradyville

Children: Brenda (Michael) Catalano of Cordova, Tn., Tim Franklin of Bradyville and Kenneth Jeff (Kelly) Franklin of Manchester

Grandchildren:  Chrissy (Casey) Frye, Michelle (Matt) Phillips, Brittany, Ashley, Tyler & Emily Franklin

Great Grandchildren:  Austin & Anna Phillips

Siblings:  J.T. (Sue) Franklin of Manchester, Doyle (Diane) Franklin and Jean Floyd both of Elkhardt, IN.

Mr. Franklin was a retired farmer and welder, a member of the Baptist church and was a veteran of the Navy.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home  at 1 p.m. om Saturday, October 23, 2010 with Pastor Rick Clouse officiating. Burial will be in Gilley Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, October 22, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
