Kathy Jean Bailey Murphy, 63, Sunday, August 09, 2015 at her home following an extended illness. She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Murphy, Jr. of Woodbury; Children:Bobby Joe (Sherry) Bailey, Minnie Mayleane Davenport, Jack Augustine (Melissa) Murphy all of Woodbury, Christy Jeanne (Mark) Thomas of Readyville, Tiffany Renee Davenport and Reva Nichole (Paul) Reed all of Gassaway; Grandchildren:Ariel Bailey, Matthew & Mattea Thomas, Devon Davenport, Destiny Brannon, Charles Murphy, Paul & Winter Reed; Extra Grandchildren: Bella Conley, Bailey & Keilee Campbell, Brandon Bailey and Lilly Hayes;Siblings:Marvin (Charlotte) Bailey of Shelbyville, J.C. Bailey of Woodbury, Patricia Ann (David) Walls of Rockvale, J.W. (Patty) Bailey & Betty (Bobby) Lykins all of Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmon Lawrence Bailey and Eunice Reedy Bailey. Kathy was a member of the Wilson Hill Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Thursday, August 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Hale and Bro. Gayle Alexander officiating. Interment will follow in the Bradley Creek Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11 am - 9 pm Wednesday.
