Judy Gilley Knox, 70, passed away Wed., October 31, 2018 at Alive Hospice. A native of Cannon Co., she was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Garnett Reed Gilley and her sister, Dorothy Stephens.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Howard Knox, Jr. of Murfreesboro; children, Lisa Knox Smith and her husband, Tim of Nolensville and Chris Knox and his wife, Susan of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Katelyn Smith, Hayley Waldron and her husband, Harrison and Natalie Knox; great grandson, Liam Hollis; sister, Linda Parton and her husband, David of Woodbury. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

A member of the Church of Christ, Judy was a homemaker, loved to read and garden.

Per Judy's request, graveside services will be 2 pm Friday, Nov. 02, 2018 at Riverside Gardens with Bro. Charles Williams officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon till 1:45 Friday, Nov. 02, 2018. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or World Christian Broadcasting.
