Judge Ash Accepts Two Guilty Pleas



Two defendants entered guilty pleas Friday in Cannon County Circuit Court before Judge Don Ash.

Christopher Paul Lefevers pled guilty to promotion of methamphetamine manufacture. He was sentenced to four years in the state prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender. He was also ordered to pay a fine and court costs. In another case, Lefevers pled guilty to felony evading arrest. He was sentenced to two years in the state prison as a Range 1, 30 percent offender and ordered to pay a fine and court costs.

Steffen M. Brady pled guilty to violation of probation. His supervised probation was extended four years. He was also ordered to pay fines and court costs. In another case out of Rutherford County, Brady also pled guilty to violation of probation, and was placed on two years supervised probation and ordered to pay fines and court costs.

Also Friday,

Tammie Thompson was granted a furlough following her plea for a suspended sentence. Her case was continued until June 9 for a suspended sentence hearing.

Christina Kelley was arraigned on a charge of failure to appear. She entered a plea of not guilty. She was appointed the public defender and her case was reset until May 5.

Gregory J. Porter was appointed the public defender and his revocation case was reset for May 5.
