Josie A. Wilson Brasher

Josie A. Wilson Brasher, 92, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Cannon Co.

Survivors include her sister Martha Fults of Smithville and several nieces and nephews.For the past 3 years she has made her home with her nephew Robert Wayne Wilson on Pleasant Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Wilson and Jessie Bryson Wilson; Sister Floy D Wilson; Three brothers, Brathen Wilson, Turney Wilson and Marvin Wilson.

Ms. Josie was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and was a nurses aide. She loved her dogs, traveling and the Grand Ole Opry.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Nichols and Bro. Bratten Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Odom Cemetery

Visitation with the family will be Wed., January 25, 2017 after 2 pm at Woodbury Funeral Home and Thursday from 11 am until 2 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church.
